Typically, we take the the 9.27am train from Ashtead to different areas of London. For more information, contact Pauline at Exploring London Walks 1 a or John at Exploring London Walks 1 b
Normally one or two group members plan and lead a walk in London. We cover London’s history, its art and architecture and a lot more. We find we are learning a lot more about different parts of our capital and have learned to look up to appreciate things. A stop for coffee and a lunch are an important part of the day. The group started in January 2015 and has done walks in Whitehall, the Inns of Court, the City, Southwark, Greenwich, High Street Kensington, and along The Regents Park canal to Little Venice.
