This group is currently inactive as it needs a new leader - this role shouldn't be too onerous as there is no single organiser of the theatre trips. A member who is keen to see a particular show checks availability and cost, and choosing the date that appeals, invites members to join him/her, requesting that the ticket money arrives by a precise date. We go to Surrey theatres mostly but occasionally to the West End seeing a variety of shows from Shakespeare to musical theatre. Frequently, the organiser of an evening visit will find an appropriate restaurant for a pre-show supper should that appeal.
