Presented by Dr Colin Summerhayes & Prof Jan Zalasiewicz, leading geoscientists who have collaborated on the concept of the Anthropocene, a potential new geological time unit. Summerhayes is a marine geochemist and oceanographer known for his work on climate change and the Anthropocene, and Zalasiewicz is a Professor of Palaeobiology at the University of Leicester who also works on the Anthropocene. They co-edited the book "The Anthropocene as a Geological Time Unit: A Guide to the Scientific Evidence and Current Debate" and are prominent members of the Anthropocene Working Group.
