Peter Stammers will give a talk about Lise Meitner, an Austrian-Swedish physicist who was instrumental in the discoveries of nuclear fission and protactinium.

Peter  has a background in education, was an NHS Consultant Education Adviser for 15 years and held an RAF Volunteer Reserve Commission for 8 years.  He is currently Chair of RAF Air Cadets in Surrey.
