Lesley Chequers has been an actress and an award-winning writer for over 50years. She writes a monthly poetry page in a local magazine. Alongside appearing in a film with Gene Kelly, over thirty commercials, classic TV series and touring the UK extensively in plays and musicals, she has catered for a wedding in Fulham Palace and organized Christmas entertainment at Grayshott Hall. Lesley has written numerous stage plays and for several years wrote a pilot series for Basil Brush on Children’s TV.  She has travelled extensively.
