The group meets in the Ralli room at APMH for self-guided painting and drawing sessions. We can often accommodate visitors so if you would like to join us for one of our sessions please ring the organiser a day or two before to check whether there will be space.

If the Group wishes and funds allow we can arrange demonstrations and tuition by  professional artists. We have also displayed our work at such events as Ashtead Rotary Village Day and in the Peace Memorial Hall.

The Art (Painting and Drawing) Group is now full - watch this space to see when that changes.  Our members use the time to practice their drawing and painting, mostly in watercolours but some also use acrylics or pastels. We welcome everybody regardless of experience but if you have never drawn or painted before we recommend a few professional lessons first. Then practice makes perfect (or at least better!) and advice is freely available.
