The Walking: Easy Pace group would like to welcome a few more people to join their friendly, sociable group.

Our walks are more like a stroll than a ramble, and range from two to three and a half miles in distance over gentle terrain, avoiding stiles where possible.  We usually meet on the 4^th Monday of the month at 10.00am and plan to finish our walks by 1.00pm at the latest.  Although some walks start in Ashtead, we mostly travel by car to the start of our walks, operating car sharing where possible, so lifts are usually available. 

Over the years we’ve visited Richmond Park, sections of the River Wey Navigation, Horton Park, Ockham Common, the Horsleys, Brockham & Betchworth and we’ve had numerous walks in the Ashtead/Epsom area.  The photo shows some of us on a winter walk in Bushy Park.

We are now quite a small group and we would very much like to attract some new members.  We are a friendly bunch who enjoy meeting up to walk and chat – both are equally important – and we also very much enjoy the occasional pub lunch together.
